The RCIA--Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults--is the process by which adults enter into Christian life through Baptism or are received into the Catholic Church, if already baptized, through a profession of faith. The process is an extensive one and requires a commitment from the participants. A sponsor from the parish accompanies the person on this journey of faith, which usually culminates at the Easter Vigil. Contact: Fr. John Vien. return to top
Baptism of Children is celebrated during Sunday liturgy. During the Pre-Baptism meeting, the place of Baptism in the process of faith development is explained and the parents are instructed in their role as Christian parents. The Church reminds them of her role in helping foster their faith and that of their child. Please call the rectory to schedule the required pre-Baptism meeting, preferably prior to the birth of the child. return to top
