Stewardship

Here at St. Pius V Catholic Church, we give thanks to God and one another for the gifts we have been given and share as stewards - co-workers with God in realizing the Kingdom of God among us.  Together, we practice "stewardship."  What do we mean by Stewardship?  It means taking care of what has been given to us!  That means we recognize personal gifts and talents that God has given us, nourish them, use them, and share them with others.  How do we do this?  We start with prayer, and ask God, "Lord, what do you want me to do with the gifts you have given me?"  As members of a worshiping Christian community, we would also pray, "Lord, how would you like me to become more fully involved in the life of the Church?"
