Dear Parishioners of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Pius V Churches,

May Divine Mercy and Easter Joy be with all of us!

I am writing to inform you that after prayerful discernment, the Vincentians have decided to

return the pastoral care of St. Pius V Church to the Archdiocese of St. Louis. In review of

our own mission and the number of qualified priests on hand, the Vincentians can no longer

staff these two parishes together. Therefore, effective July 1, 2026, the multi-parish

administration of St. Pius V and St. Vincent de Paul will come to an end.

Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski and his advisory team are in the midst of personnel planning and are working to choose a leader for St. Pius V. Once a decision has been reached on

the leadership for St. Pius V, the decision will be announced to the parish.

Regarding St. Vincent de Paul Church, a new Vincentian pastor will be assigned to the parish.

Thank you to both parish communities for the opportunity to provide pastoral care

and work collaboratively to serve our communities over the past three years.

I continue to pray daily for both parishes, that God bless each with the gifts and

graces to move forward in prayer and service.

God bless you,

Fr. Joe Williams, C.M.

Provincial Superior of the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission
