Join our Ministry of Welcome
We invite you to become a Greeter at St. Pius V and be the face of welcome to new and returning parishioners, neighbors, and guests.
Greeters are vital to our parish’s hospitality, as they are people’s first experience of community and belonging when they arrive.
We need folks who can:
Volunteer once a month in teams of 2
Arrive 20-30 minutes before Mass
Hand out songbooks and bulletins as you welcome arrivals and answer questions
Select individuals or families to bring up the offertory gifts
Check pews after Mass for books and other items to return
Duties are minimal compared to the gifts of friendship, connection, and strengthening our parish community!
Greeters are needed for all weekend Masses (Saturdays at 4:30 pm, Sundays at 8:00 am, and Sundays at 10:00 am).
We also need volunteers greeters for funerals.
