A Vincentian Prayer for our Pope

Please join us each

day as we lift the Holy Father to the Lord in healing

O God of boundless compassion, Father of the poor and Shepherd of all, we lift up Your servant, Pope Francis, who bears the burdens of Your people with a heart of love. As St. Vincent de Paul saw Christ in the sick and the suffering, we now see Christ in our Holy Father, who, in frailty, continues to serve with tireless devotion. Lay Your healing hand upon him, O Lord. Strengthen his body, renew his spirit, and grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding. Like St. Vincent, he has walked the path of humble service, lifting up the brokenhearted, calling for justice, and embracing the poor with a father’s love. Now, in this time of need, embrace him, O Divine Healer. Restore his strength, guide his physicians, and let Your mercy be his comfort. May Mary, Mother of the Church, intercede for her devoted son that Your holy will be done in him, now and forever.
