Thanks to the many parishioners who attended the Sunday Conversation on Hospitality and Security on May 18. We had a rich conversation about how to make our parish home a refuge on South Grand.
There have been several changes as a result!
Reflective tape on the mechanical box on the back of the church.
"Know Your Rights" cards are available in the back of the church.
There will be an upcoming Sunday Conversation with Kevin Kuehl, our Immigrant and Refugee Ministry Coordinator.
Parish administration is actively looking for a contractor to manage improved snow removal this coming winter.
The Worship Commission has discussed the importance of having petitions that directly reflect the needs of our St Pius V Catholic Church.
And have you seen the new Feedback Form that is linked in the bulletin and on the parish website? Several comments have been received--thank you! Please send your suggestions, questions, feedback, or concerns. This allows for real-time feedback about important issues.
Additionally:
Our new Stewardship Commission met on August 19.
The Parish Council is utilizing our August 23 retreat to dive into Strategic Planning.
We are looking for parishioner involvement with both of those efforts, and feedback from this Sunday Conversation will be utilized in our planning.
As Parish Council members, we hope to lead by example. Our own efforts at hospitality should be apparent to parishioners and guests. Please join us in welcoming all to our parish home.
Thank you,
