Get Closer to Christ at the Men’s White House Retreat

All men and friends of the parish are invited to join us on our annual men’s retreat at the beautiful White House in South St. Louis County. This will be a silent, guided retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. It’s a peaceful break from the chaos and confusion of everyday life.

Consider it a 3-day vacation with Christ on the Jesuit’s 80-acre campus overlooking the Mississippi River. All meals and private lodging are provided. Our retreat begins the evening with dinner, Thursday, June 8th and concludes Sunday, June 11th after lunch.

There is no set fee to attend a retreat at White House! White House operates on a free will offering basis, asking those in attendance to simply give what they can at the conclusion of the retreat.

To register call 800-643-1003 or visit https://whitehouseretreat.org. For more information, contact Ron Auer at auerhouse@sbcglobal.net.

2nd Annual Forgive Us Our Trespasses Prayer Service

Please join us Saturday, June 17 at the 2nd annual Forgive Us Our Trespasses prayer service and Maafa Procession in downtown St. Louis to commemorate the approximately 2 million lives lost during the "Middle Passage" of the Atlantic slave trade.

The procession will begin at the Old Cathedral at 209 Walnut St., St. Louis, MO, 63102 at 9am. There will be a prayer service followed by a remembering ceremony at the south pond of the arch grounds. Then there will be a 1-mile procession to St. John the Apostle and Evangelist Church where we will have fellowship and share a meal.
